About Love At Work
Love At Work was founded in 2001 as a means of rescuing street children in Latin America. Founder and Director Neil Millman is a geographer/ photographer/ social entrepreneur who observed the conditions of street children over a 30-year period of extensive world travel. In 2001 he undertook a photo expedition to Mexico and Guatemala to study the problem firsthand. The journey resulted in a video documentary and a book entitled Miraculous Journey. Neil also met Margarita Cortes, a naturalized immigrant from Puebla, Mexico, whom he soon married. As a pediatric dental assistant Margarita has been responsible for organizing dental service projects to shelters in Mexico City. Since 2002 the Millmans have visited Mexico and Colombia yearly, providing financial and material assistance to several shelters, primarily the Ecuador House in Mexico City. Love At Work is governed by a board of eight members and is located in Provo, Utah.
